The Keynote Speaker will be Henrik Semb. Henrik Semb is Director of the Danish Stem Cell Center “DanStem”, located in Copenhagen. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying pancreas development. The ultimate aim of his research efforts is to use stem cell technology to develop novel treatment options for diabetes. The title of his seminar is: “Translating new discoveries in beta cell development into expandable production of beta cells from human pluripotent stem cells”.
